JUNE 27th - 29th

Volunteers Needed for Dead Dog Classic

Last year the Dead Dog Classic stage race in Laramie, Wyoming proved to be one of the most popular and well run races on the ACA calendar. This year race organizers are planning to make the event even more racer friendly by providing additional feed zones and better traffic control. To do this we will need more volunteers, especially on Saturday. We are a small community and local response for calls for volunteers has been good, but we can use more help. If you can come up to help with the race on 27, 28, and/or 29 of June, we could certainly put you to work. Racers; if someone is accompanying you to the race, ask them to help you by helping us.

And, unlike many other races there are tangible benefits for Dead Dog Classic volunteers. Each of you will get a T-shirt, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday and a ticket to the post race BBQ! You also just might get a chance at some nice schwag if you are an on-time volunteer. Plus if you come to one of our evening volunteer training sessions, we’ll treat you to pizza and soft drinks.

We have open spots for course marshals (traffic control), parking control, feed zone workers, registration workers, lead and follow car drivers and miscellaneous tasks. If you can help us out, e-mail deaddogclassic@hotmail.com.
